Their next show will then move to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota at the National Guard Armory on May 5th & 6th and then they’ll end their show season with a show at the National Guard Armory in Wadena, Minnesota on June 2nd & 3rd. South Dakota’s Pheasant Season will open Oct. 20 and run through Jan. 6. Shooting hours will be noon through sunset the first week of the season, and beginning Oct. 27 will be 10 a.m. to sunset. The bag limit will be three roosters daily, with a maximum possession limit of 15. The Youth Pheasant season will run from Oct. 6-10. The Resident-Only Pheasant season will run from Oct. 13-15. 1) I get questions all the time about shooting .357 Magnum ammo in the .357 Rem. Maximum chambers. My stock answer is that yes, you can, but with the long jump to the rifling & the bullet rattling in the chamber neck before it gets to the throat, accuracy probably won’t be very impressive. Translation: I haven’t tried it myself, but yes you physically can… same as shooting .38 Special in .357 Magnum chambers. So, here is where I’d like some input from my “field test labaortories,” you guys.
